More realistic horse handling v1.0
Horse riding now feels more intuitive and realistic. The sensitivity of 4 different cfg lines has been adjusted to create turning that feels weighty, smooth and precise. The horse now feels like it has momentum and weight to it which can increase immersion and riding satisfaction while also greatly reducing over-steering risk due to vanilla horse value ridiculously high and unrealistic turning sensitivity.
Installation guide options:
1: Manually by extracting file to mods folder for kcd2.
2:Copy the following text
wh_horse_RotationSmoothInSpeed = 0.11
wh_horse_RotationSmoothOutSpeed = 0.0105
wh_horse_RotationCoeff = 0.61
wh_horse_RotationMax = 1.48
and paste in your user.cfg
Make sure to have +exec user.cfg pasted on steam launch. You access that by
– Open Steam → Library
– Right-click Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 → Properties
– Under Launch Options, add this exactly:
+exec user.cfg
3: to enable in game immediately, paste the following
wh_horse_RotationSmoothInSpeed = 0.11
wh_horse_RotationSmoothOutSpeed = 0.0105
wh_horse_RotationCoeff = 0.61
wh_horse_RotationMax = 1.48
in console menu which you open by pressing ~ key after entering the game. paste the text in the box that shows up after pressing ~ using ctrl+v.
